What this tool does
The hard part of choosing a handle is not inventing one, it is inventing one that is still free, that you can say down a phone line without spelling it out, and that you will not resent in five years. Two plain words in front of each other solve all three. A separator turns them into the dotted or hyphenated form some services require, and the number on the end is the standard escape hatch when the plain version is gone.

Frequently asked questions
Why adjective plus noun?
Because a name has to be said out loud and typed from memory, and a random string fails at both. Two ordinary words joined together are easy to read, easy to dictate over the phone and hard to mistype, while still giving thousands of combinations. The trailing number is there for the moment the good ones are already taken.
