What this tool does
Quantum chemistry outputs energies in hartree, spectroscopists read them in reciprocal centimetres, thermochemists want kJ/mol and the older American literature uses kcal/mol — all describing the same thing. The per-mole units are energies per particle multiplied by the Avogadro constant, so they belong on the same scale despite looking different.
