What this tool does

Frequently asked questions
How many psi is 1 bar?
One bar is 14.5038 psi. The shortcut of 14.5 is fine for tyre pressures but not for a pressure vessel calculation. A bar is defined as exactly 100 000 pascals, and psi comes from the pound-force and the square inch, which is why the ratio is not a round number.
