What this tool does
Peak sun hours are the number of hours of full-strength sunshine that would deliver the same daily energy as the real, variable day: roughly 3 in northern Europe and 5 or more around the Mediterranean. The performance ratio accounts for temperature, inverter losses, wiring and dirt, and typically sits between 75 % and 85 %.
