BMR and Daily Calorie Calculator

Basal metabolic rate by the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, and daily needs at your activity level.

Results

Basal metabolic rate 1644 kcal/d
Calories 2260 kcal/d
Energy 9456 kJ/d

What this tool does

Basal metabolic rate is roughly what your body would use lying still all day; multiplying it by an activity factor gives an estimate of total daily energy use. Mifflin-St Jeor is the equation most dietitians use, and it is still only an estimate — real individual metabolism varies by 10 % or more in either direction.

Formula

Mifflin-St Jeor: BMR = 10×kg + 6.25×cm − 5×idade + s (s = +5 men, −161 women)
