What this tool does
The Cooper test asks you to cover as much ground as you can in twelve minutes on a flat track, and estimates aerobic capacity from the distance. It is an estimate from a population formula, not a laboratory measurement — and it is a genuinely hard maximal effort, so it is not for anyone who has not been cleared for that kind of exertion.
